I’m starting a new series called “Degen Of The Week”, in which I will highlight one degenerate and their actions in the spaces of streaming, gambling, and crypto.
Why? Because people like this make online gambling seem so funny and memorable.

This week, I just can’t go past the rampage that was happening on streams of TheGoobr.

I’ve been following TheGoobr for some time now. He is what you call “a bit of an unusual gambling streamer” with crazy rants, wild takes, and a lot of yelling. But what really caught my interest lately is this tweet about him going into an almost $1M debt:
His chatters were split: half saying that it is finally time to go to a rehabilitation centre for gambling addicts and others saying “GO ROULETTE AND PUT ALL YOU OWN ON RED”. Classic.
TheGoobr instead chose to invite all of his followers to join what could potentially be his last stream, where he would try to gamble with all of his savings to break even.
This is such a high level of peak degeneracy that it became a performance art. It’s beautifully stupid.
And people showed up. Amid all of it, both fans and haters actually rooted for him.
Because deep down, everyone saw a bit of themselves in Goobr. The guy represents the eternal struggle: the hope that maybe, just maybe, this next spin, this next call, this next roll will fix everything.
And like in a fairy tale, the unthinkable happens…
I urge you to watch his reaction to winning a million dollars, it is absolutely the most insane reaction to anything that I have ever seen.
Also, worth noticing that he won almost exactly the amount that he was in debt for AND after that he made a giveaway for $25,000 ahahaha.
Are these fake credits or he had a bit of help from the casino itself?
We will never know…

TL;DR: Streamer TheGoobr went $1M in the hole, fired up one last all-or-nothing stream… and actually won it back. Then dropped a $25K giveaway like it was nothing.
