Degen Insider Is Brought To You By Menace.com Crypto Sportsbook & Casino

Sup fellow degens,

Today, I’ve brought to you a special present - steaming hot balls. And we’re going to look and play with them together. Right here, right now.

If you’re on your way to unsubscribe because that’s a wild start of a newsletter, please, don’t sound the alarm. You gotta be alarmed for anyone who calls their slot - ‘Lava Balls’.

I’m just here to review it. So forgive me for any upcoming puns.

How it plays

At first you’re greeted with the regular board of 5×3 where you do regular spinning. Nothing is particular surprising here but there was something that caught my attention.

‘Lava Balls’ has a twist (pun intended) that, in my opinion, way more slots should explore too.

Every wild you catch becomes a plinko ball that drops down into one of the pots with multipliers (or free spins). Multipliers in pots change every spin.

As a huge lover of plinko balls, offering such feature won my heart immediately.

However, without touching this great feature, spinning this slot is fun, and it pays out with a solid frequency of around 32% (every third spin basically) even tho the slot has a really high volatility. So close your mouth if you think you can go and rob this slot. In addition, just like most slots, the bigger the hits, the less frequent there are.

Over 1000x = 1 in 43,066

Max win = 1 in 45,045,045 (considering that the max win is just 4,800x).

If we look at the RTP, it is in a usual Pragmatic Play style with three versions that vary based on where you play - 94.5%, 95.5%, or 96.5%.

What I absolutely love about this slot is the min and max bet sizes.

$0.25 - $250 holy moly, everyone will find their golden spot to enjoy this slot.

But now let’s get to the best part…

Bonus feature

The bonus feature that you can buy for 100x your bet size or trigger from a random wild plinko ball during spins is the best part of this slot.

You get 12 spins at first and can catch more free spins as you go, up to +5 additional spins. When I was trying out the slot, these additional spins drop quite frequently, so the bonus game goes long and sweet.

You also catch a bunch of other valuable stuff. For example, during the bonus feature, all the pots under your reels are turned into money pots and you can increase the money prize inside them by catching special symbols (this becomes important later).

You’re also on a hunt to catch as many balls as possible.

At the end of the feature, these balls are then dropped onto the money pots as a regular plinko game and you take all the money that balls land into.

For example: if 10 of your balls land in a $500 pot, you get $5000 etc. Simple math.

Style

Not impressed, I’ll be honest. The slot is new, but looks quite outdated, not that catchy and uses very non-fitting images.

I’m all for degeneracy; you can say I’m an ambassador of degen things but what in the hell is this??

Pop the champagne😜😜😜😜😜

This type of thing takes away from the atmosphere of a slot that focuses on lava, fire, and balls. And overall atmosphere of the slot is not that bad if you ignore dancing emojis from 2005.

And the overall sounds and animations are quite old and cheap and stand out a lot if you spin multiple modern slots. What are you doing??

Music is great and doesn’t get annoying and fits the genre. You feel like a demon king playing the slot, but your kingdom is a bit cringe and everyone jokes that you’re sitting there playing with your hot balls (I’m sorry but who calls their slot like this).

Final thought

‘Lava Balls’ caught me off guard in many ways.

Slot/plinko mix goes hard. It doesn’t feel like a weird gimmick for the sake of standing out but something that actually works and feels chaotic in the best way. You’re spinning, then boom, you’re watching a ball bounce around for random multipliers.

Bonus feature goes even harder, and the fun just keeps on coming. Payouts are good too, even tho you can still get dead spins and lose everything.

Honestly, it’s just one of those games that keeps the dopamine flowing. Now all that is left is to launch ‘Lava Balls 2’ with updated visuals and sounds and it’s going to be the next big thing.

TL;DR: Hot balls, wild spins, and pure chaos. Lava Balls mixes slots with Plinko — wilds drop, money pops, dopamine spikes. Looks dated, plays like a dream. Degens, this one’s for you.

Stay degen,

Dima

Who is Menace Dima?

Look, I could bore you with my "professional bio" – you know, the whole "20+ years in the gambling industry" spiel, the $100M+ portfolio, or how I've had my fingers in every gambling pie from affiliate marketing to running major operators.

But here's what you really need to know: I'm the guy who's probably lost (and won) more money than most, has the wildest degen stories you've never heard, and still can't resist a good bet. Whether it's dropping stacks on MMA fights, grinding poker until sunrise, or testing every new casino game that hits the market – I've done it all, and I'm still doing it.

These days, I'm repping Menace.com (yeah, that name goes hard) as their ambassador, but more importantly, I'm here to be your inside man. The guy who's seen the industry from every angle – from boardroom to bathroom floor – and lived to tell the tales.

Stick around if you want gambling content that isn't just another boring guy in a suit telling you about odds. This is about to get interesting.
